The trainings for capacity building of the multidisciplinary teams were organized

In a relation to the approval of The Child Protection Law on February 05, 2016 and the approval of the Law on Fighting Against the Family Violations on December 22, 2016 by being renovated, re-arranged and approved, we finished organizing the methodological training on how to work according to these laws throughout the country for the Governmental Implementing Agency – Family, Children and Youth Agency, the members of multidisciplinary teams of soums, khoroos and baghs of 21 aimags and 9 districts.

As for our organization, we successfully organized the “Capacity building training for the members of multidisciplinary teams” as follows since the beginning of 2017:

  • Twice for the members of multidisciplinary team of Sukhbaatar district;
  • Twice for the members of multidisciplinary team of Chingeltei district;
  • Once for the members of multidisciplinary team of Bayanzurkh district;
  • Once for the members of multidisciplinary team of Huvsgulaimag;
  • Once for the members of multidisciplinary team of Dundgoviaimag;
  • Once for the members of multidisciplinary teams of 7 soums of Bayan-Ulgiiaimag;
  • Once for the members of multidisciplinary teams of 5 soums of Govi-Altai aimag; and
  • Once for the members of multidisciplinary teams of 8 soums of Bayankhongoraimag.

Totally 735 participants attended this training and the expenses incurred in a relation to the training was financed by many sources such as Family, Children and Youth Agency, Family, Children and Youth Agency of aimags, World Vision and UNDP.

The goals of training:

To give psychological counseling based on the diagnostics to the children and their families that are in the risky situations and require the protections, positivizing their relations, provide with the methodological resources to render social-psychological supports and increase the skills.

 

Contents:

  1. 5 needs of the child’s psychology to be full – “5x” domain to be lately schemed
  2. Projective methods, picture and metamorphose methods for evaluating the psychological states of children and adolescents
  3. “HEADSS” methodology for sole counseling to adolescent children
  4. Methodologies for counseling to the children and family suffered the sexual violations
  5. “Assessing – formulating – scheming” the basic “5A” technical issues for counseling to the family members, recovering
  6. Preparing the picturing, documenting, planning, making contracts, feedbacks and concluding
  7. “Sculpture” methodology for diagnosing the family structure and normal and sick relations
  8. “Strategy” methodology for conducting the family counseling (meeting)
  9. Issues of borders for differentiating the violators and victims, evaluating the risks and providing the safety conditions
  10. Possibilities to use “DEMO” tools for positivizing /make positive/ and making healthy the family relations, pictures, and tale methods, “Sand-sculpture-picturing”
  11. Alcohol abuse – Methodologies and recommendations for recognizing the symptoms of double dependence

The project named “Psychological service based on the school”, valued at MNT22…. covering 13,150 pupils (in duplicated number), 294 teachers, and 578 parents was successfully implementedat the School No.7.

Project period: December 09, 2016 – June 09, 2017

  6. 114th high school of Khan-Uul district
  7. Buyant-Ukhaa Complex School of Khan-Uul district

 

Project goals:

To contribute in creating the social and psychological favorable environments for the pupils to study, develop and be protected through providing the pupils and teachers of general educations high schools and parents with psychological counseling based on the evidence, organizing the trainings on life skills and conducting the psychological assessments .

 

Project outcomes:

  • The survey – Strength and Difficulties Questionnaire (SDQ) for researching the emotional and behavioral facing issues was taken from 1565 pupils of 7 high schools, and 222 pupils with “High Risks” are revealed.
  • The survey for determining the “Display Dependence” was taken from 396 pupils and it was determined that 118 of them were at “1st level of Display Dependence” or needs “Great psychological assistance and service”.
  • At the result of 10 series of training to provide the pupils with the psychological education, the evaluation of the pupils after the project proved that the atmosphere of colleagues of target classes was positivized.
  • 570 children were covered by the psychological counseling and could receive the counseling for stabilizing the mental disorders and correcting the risky behaviors.
  • 10519 children were covered by the 10 series of training of life skills for providing the psychological education and improved their life skills.

2061 children were covered by the psychological diagnostics and could determine their individual’s peculiarity, behavioral and anxieties’ levels, professional trends and directions, talents and skills.
